An extremely bloody zombie shooter where you run through a world filled with 10 different types of zombies. The more zombies you kill the stronger you get.
This game was based on something I created years earlier, I can't remember exactly when I began working on it.
I also figured out how to render textures to a "surface", as it is called in Game Maker. So blood and meat chunk objects would disappear after they stopped moving, and then they would draw themselves onto the surface rather than staying around as actual instances in the game loop. You can imagine tens of thousands of these instances would cost a lot of performance.
